If you wish to speak to the doctors, non-emergency calls are answered at the end of the afternoon, and as time permits, between appointments. For a complicated problem, please schedule an appointment.

Our rooms are welcoming and many children are attended to there, however there may be a waiting time for a paediatrician should the hospital call unexpectedly. To assist with the waiting we have developed a children’s garden with play equipment and a little thatch gazebo where Mom’s may enjoy a welcoming cup of tea. Please feel free to use this area it is for you… and you will not be forgotten or miss your appointment.

Our Paediatricians attend to hospital rounds, which include Paediatrics, Neonatal and Maternity, first thing in the morning.  For this reason we may run late attending to your scheduled appointment.

When we are running late our staff will always attempt to contact you to update you. Please make sure your cell phone is accessible on the day of your appointment, as we do occasionally encounter problems with this means of communication. It is also suggested that you, in person, check with our rooms that the doctors are on time for your scheduled appointment (emergencies are unpredictable).  It is in our interest that patients do not sit and wait long hours in our rooms. A breastfeeding / changing room is available for your convenience.
